ARTICLE 5 - MEETINGS
5.01
ANNUAL MEETING - The annual meeting of GHYSA shall be held between
January 1 and March 1 of the then current playing year.
- Site: the site of the meeting
shall be determined by the Commissioner and/or President.
- The Secretary or Commissioner
shall send notice of the annual meeting to all Council members at least
twenty (20) days before the meeting.
- Voting all matters coming before
the Council at the annual meeting will be voted on by the Council. Each
League/association shall be entitled to one (1) vote.
- Revisions to GHYSA Code may be
amended, deleted or added to only by a majority vote of the registered
members at the annual meeting, provided a quorum (2/3 of GHYSA Membership)
is present at the meeting. If a quorum is not present, an e-mail poll of
eligible voting members shall be used for voting purposes. Revision of the
GHYSA Code may only be voted on at the annual meeting or, if a quorum was
not present at the annual meeting, by an e-mail poll following the annual
meeting.
5.02
ORDER OF BUSINESS. The order of business for any meeting of GHYSA shall
be as follows:
- Roll call
- Review and approval of minutes
of the last meeting
- Committee reports
- Executive Committee report
- Unfinished business
- New business
- Adjournment
